About me
Here's who I am & what I do
My name is Faith Horn and I’ve had the privilege of studying art at Olivet Nazarene University . Not only have I been granted the opportunity to grow in my graphic skills here at ONU, but I’ve discovered my love for painting, perfected my drawing style and technique, and learned more about the adobe programs as a whole. Although my strongest mediums tend to be traditional, I've grown in my graphic abilities through my internship and part-time position at Pathfinder located in Kankakee, IL.
Growing up, I immersed myself in traditional art and practiced frequently. So, from viewing my artwork, one can notice my illustrative style and my eye for detail in order to capture everything about a memory or picture, including the mood, setting, and subjects.
Feel free to reach out via Instagram or email if you have any questions about my work, commissions, etc.
ARTIST STATEMENT
As an artist of several different mediums, I am inspired by curiosity to explore and encapsulate the beauty that surrounds us- various moments, specific textures, and the stories of this world. Through my work, I strive to depict the essence of everything: vibrant nature, human connection, and the relationship between light, form, and color. Whether with a brush, a pencil, or a digital program, my goal remains the same- to create pieces that evoke a sense of wonder and reflection, inviting others to see the extraordinary in the everyday.
